June Arylene Chapin Ek

Ek, June A. (neé Chapin) Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Age 85 of St. Paul and Pine City. Passed away peacefully on October 9, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Vernon L.; daughter, Patricia Kirtland; grandson, Peter Ek-Pangerl; and brother, Glen. Survived by children, Jeanne (Mark) Duffy, Jacqueline (Dale) Ek-Pangerl, Margie (Pat) Conway, Lawrence (Patti) Ek, and John Ek (Nancy Goeltl); 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation 1-4 PM Sunday, October 13 at Mueller Memorial Lake Chapel, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 12 PM Monday, October 14 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Private family interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Maplewood.
