Joyce Hill

Joyce Carol Hill was born in Wabasso, MN December 3, 1928. She and her family moved to the Twin Cities and Joyce graduated from Washington High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Don, November 22, 1947; they shared 71 years together. Don and Joyce raised 5 children in Maplewood, MN. Joyce was a working mother driving school bus while her children were school age. Later she worked at BP Plastics starting on the press line and eventually working her way up to the front office as secretary. Don and Joyce relocated to Casa Grande, AZ in 1980 and lived there 33 years returning to St. Paul to be near family.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter-in-law, Sharon; granddaughter, Stacy and grandson, Kyle. She is survived by her children, Greg, Cheryl (Tim), Pete (Kelc), Steve, Mark (Marilyn); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 11am on Thursday, December 7th at Church of St. Peter, 2600 Margaret St. N in North St. Paul. Visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will follow Mass at Evergreen Memorial Garden.
