Joseph Charles Trembley
Died peacefully on January 28, 2025. Joe was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 2, 1967. He was one of five children to Mary (nee Rafferty) and Raymond Trembley. He was an active athlete, played soccer and softball for fun, and played football competitively in High School. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1986. Joe had two brothers in the military and followed in their footsteps. He chose a different branch and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served over 10 years with the Air Force and was stationed in Turkey, Germany, and California. Following his honorable discharge, Joe was diagnosed with myotonic muscular dystrophy, but he did not let this define his life. Despite his diagnosis, he worked within the security industry for over 10 years. He was a very bright man and was very good at trivia and puzzles. His best trivia categories were sports, history, and geography. As a true Minnesotan, he was a fan of the Vikings and Gopher football teams. During his spare time, he liked to get out and about to different events. His favorite event was the Renaissance Festival. More than anything, Joe had the best sense of humor.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Helen Rafferty, and Raymond & Delores Trembley; and his sister, Susan "Susie" Scanlon. He is survived by his parents, Raymond & Mary Ann Trembley; siblings, Michael Trembley, Chris (Nancy) Trembley, and Sara (Jed) Heimendinger; brother-in-law, Craig Scanlon; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
