Joseph Thomas Ryan Age 79 of Hudson, WI and Mt. Dora, FL Harding High East Sider Passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family on September 21, 2015 from complications of radiation treatments. Lifelong lover of the game of golf, amazing woodworker, member of Jaycees, and St. Paul Ski Club Hall of Famer for ski jumping. Accomplished and award winning athlete involved in football, diving, gymnastics, and softball. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Bernice; brother, Chuck; and granddaughter, Megan. Survived by devoted wife of 57 years, JoAnn (nee Foley); children, Susan, Barbara (Stuart) Mager, Joe (Karen), Colleen (Joe), Patricia (Baran); grandchildren, Jeremy, Westley, Patrick, Lindsey, Natalie, Ashley, and Taylor; siblings, John, Joan, Patrick, and Terry; and many relatives and friends. Visitation 5:30-7:30 PM on Thursday, September 24 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul. Memorial Service 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service on Friday, September 25, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
