Joseph Ronald Fisher Age 81, of St. Paul MN, passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2024.

Joe had many hobbies, but his favorite was hunting, fishing and playing cards with family & friends. He also loved watching his children & grandchildren participate in their favorite activities. Another hobby was fixing stuff. He took much pride in making broken items reusable. He was a very handy man!
He loved all of his family and friends so very much, although he had the tough love approach. He just wanted everyone to be the best they could be. If you tried he was on your side.
He also had a very huge passion for his dogs. They were all his best friends and he treated them all like kings. We hope as soon as he gained his wings they all came running to him. But most of all we know he was longing to be with his wife Marlys of over 50 years. They didn’t have the easiest of relationships, but they loved each other until the very end. And when he decided to give up, it was because he had a broken and lonely heart from missing her.
Pops, Papa Smurf, Dad, Grandpa, Joe, We will always love you. You will forever remain in our hearts. Until we see you again, you and mama have full time guardian angel jobs.
