Jonie (Joann) Lee Smith Sobczak

Sobczak, Jonie Lee “Joann” Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother – Age 93 Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 28, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, Chester; siblings, Winnie Smith, Wilma Bryant, Cullen Smith, Bobbie Nell Martin, and Bill Smith. Survived by children, Richard (Sharon), Ron (Sandy), Kathy (David) Brisson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Pat Smith and Bertres Smith; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation 4 – 7 PM Thursday, September 1 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake and one half hour prior to the time of the Mass at church on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, September 2 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
