Jack Holstrom

John "Jack" Holstrom, 87, formerly of the Eastside of St. Paul, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on September 20, 2024. Jack was preceded in death by loving wife, Kay; sister, Jeanne Beneke; brother, Peter; special friend, Marlene Lepsche; and daughter-in-law, Victoria. He is survived by his children, Jack Jr. (Lisa), Jim, Karen (Jerry) Hoppe, and Jay; grandchildren, Kelsey, Garrett, Brandon (Jenn), Tony (Flor), Kyle (Sarah), Oscar, Erika, 4 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Linda; and other family and friends.

Retired after 37 years from 3M. A proud member of the 1953 and 1955 St. Paul Johnson State Hockey Champions. He volunteered at Dorothy Day and Meals on Wheels. He will be remembered by his many names: Dad, Pops, Grandpa & Grandpa Jacket; and greatly missed by those who called him so.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation from 10 am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Dementia Society of America.
