John Gregory Hinrichs

John Gregory Hinrichs Age 84 of Gem Lake and White Bear Lake John was born on July 12, 1932 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Corporal from October of 1952 to June of 1953. He was a man who was extremely nice to everyone, he loved to tell jokes, and he was such a kind soul. John passed away peacefully at Ramsey Care Center on January 28, 2017 with his friends and family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents and many siblings. He will be dearly missed by his son, Michael Hinrichs; his brother, William "Bill" Hinrichs; his significant other, Giovanna Leick; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. There will be a gathering for family and friends from 11:00AM-12:00PM (noon) on Friday, February 3, 2017 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00PM (noon) at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake. Military Honors and a dessert reception will follow in the St. Joseph Room of the main church.
