John W. Hanggi

Hanggi, John W. “Big John” Forever Young Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Margaret; aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones and treasured pets. Survived by his loving wife, Rose (nee Alvarez); children, Lisa and Jack; Grandpoopa to grandchildren, Samantha and Cole; brother, Jim (Barb); and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends that loved him dearly and enjoyed his wit and spirit for LIFE. John loved spending time with his family, going on cross country motorcycle trips with his wife and close friends, cooking, hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. John also enjoyed the many people he came in contact with through out his career! Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11 am at St. Ambrose of Woodbury, 4125 Woodbury Dr., Woodbury with visitation Thursday from 4 – 8 pm at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Parkway at E 7th St., St. Paul and 1 hour prior to the Mass. Special thanks to the donor family and the U of M Organ Transplant Team for giving John a second chance at life. John will be greatly missed.
