JoAnn Hondlik

JoAnn R. Hondlik born on November 11, 1931 and passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 93 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward; parents Joseph & Anastasia Barth; siblings, Nancy Aldorfer, Donna Sullivan, Bob Barth, Darlene Metzger & Jim Barth. JoAnn is survived by her children Liz Haar (Mike), Audrey Fretschel (Jeff) and Russ Hondlik (Brenda); 7 grandchildren & their spouses; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Sally King (Bruce), Judy Benkufsky (John), Janet Manthey (Tom) and Gary Barth (Tami); brother-in-law Gus Metzger and many nieces & nephews. She volunteered for over 50 years with the Lee Warner Nature Center and was a very active member of her church and with her community, volunteering for many organizations. Service Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 10:30 am at ST. STEPHEN LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1965 County Road E, White Bear Lake with visitation starting at 9:30 am. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Stephen's Church.
