Joan Frances Aras Krieglmeier

Krieglmeier, Joan Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 22, 2013 after a long battle with cancer and Parkinson’s disease. Just before Joan moved into St. Therese of St. Odilia, she was able take one last trip to the casino, something she loved to do very much, with her husband, Ferdie. Joan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survived by husband of 59 years, Ferdie “Fred”; children, Mary Jo (Dan) Parker, Mark (Dortha), Joseph (Chris), Anne (Bob) Rauen, Greg (Peggy), Jenifer (Roger) Messin; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandson; three sisters; one brother; and by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Special thanks to everyone at St. Therese of St. Odilia for the wonderful care they provided for Joan. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Church of St. Casimir, 934 East Geranium Avenue, St. Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at Mueller Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul and also ½ hour prior to the time of the Mass on Friday at the church. Interment Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
