Jeffery J. Soika “Jeff”
Age 47 of St. Paul
Husband, Dad, Son, Nephew and Friend
Jeff was born in St. Paul on May 24, 1968 to Patricia and Richard Soika. He attended St. Paul Central High School and graduated in 1986. Jeff was always the life of the party and will be remembered for his sense of humor, his outgoing personality, and that he could be friendly to anyone he met. He worked for many years as a baker at Key’s Restaurant in White Bear Lake. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, watching professional football, fishing with his daughter, and watching his son play hockey. More than anything, his family meant the world to him. Jeff passed away on September 18, 2015 after a 9 years of battling a brain tumor.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Soika; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Mildred Soika; and his maternal grandmother, Loretta Joyce. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Jennifer Soika (nee Wolfe) of White Bear Lake; their two children, Maxwell and Rachel Soika; his father, Richard Soika of Maplewood; his sister, Mary Soika of Vadnais Heights; his nephew, Bradley Soika; his aunt, Kathy Larson; his mother-in-law, Mary Anderson; his dogs, Tramp and Ozzie; and many other family and friends.
There will be a gathering for friends and family from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Jeff’s family.
