Jeannie Regina Mulvihill (nee Bahneman)
Jeannie was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 9, 1939, the daughter of Elsie (nee Buck) and John Bahneman. She graduated from Mechanic Arts High School. She was about 20 years old when she met her husband, Michael Mulvihill, while babysitting with a friend. Michael and Jeannie were married on March 21, 1964 and had two children, Mike and Patty. Throughout her working career, she worked for a number of different companies such as Webb Publishing, St. Paul Technical and Vocational Institute, and for the City of St. Paul in their Public Works Department. She last worked at and retired from The St. Paul Insurance Companies (now known as Travelers Insurance) as a Forms Designer/Analyst. A few years after retirement, she took on a part-time job selling pull tabs. Jeannie enjoyed playing cards and other games like Farkle, bowling, reading, and playing bingo. She was also a very good cook, and made the best roast beef, spare ribs, and goulash to name a few. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend. Her family meant the world to her, and she loved spending time with them, especially attending her grandchildren's sports and activities as they were growing up. Jeannie was a very strong, caring, loving, and understanding person, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
On July 30, 2018, Jeannie passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Michael Harold Mulvihill; her parents, John and Elsie Bahneman; her siblings, Harry Harwell, Virginia Bahneman, and Carol Erickson; her sisters-in-law, Lorraine (John) Tyler and Jeanne Meyer Mulvihill; her brother-in-law, Leonard Yanez.
