Age 79 of Woodbury

Born November 15, 1944, in Roseau, Minnesota, and raised in Malung, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024.

After graduating high school, Jeanette moved to St. Paul, where she began a career at the Federal Reserve Bank. On September 7, 1968, she married Allen G. Schmidt.

Jeanette had a passion for creativity, enjoying sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, and various crafts. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and valued her family and many friendships. A dedicated member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, she served her community for many years.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen; her parents; and her sister, Marian. She is survived by her three children, Yolanda (David) O'Brien, Brian (Dianne) Schmidt, and Pamela Masella (Joseph Engro), as well as her cherished grandchildren: Jacob, Grace, Justin, Cooper, Sophia, and Easton.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeanette's life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at 655 Forest St. N., St. Paul, with visitation at 3 PM and the service following at 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in her memory.
