Jean Lorraine Lindy (Regis)

Jean was born February 10, 1920 in Iron Mountain Michigan to Rose and Felix Regis. She grew up on the Minnesota Iron Range and graduated from Chisholm High School in 1938. After raising their family in Chisholm she and her husband Clinton moved to Baytown Texas where Jean retired from US Steel Texas Works in 1986. After retirement she traveled the world, eventually returning to Minnesota in 2006. She resided at the Boulders Senior Community in White Bear Lake for 10 years and Keystone Place LaValle Fields in Hugo for a short time. Jean passed peacefully May 7, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband Clinton and brother, George Regis, Stillwater. She will be missed by sons John (Cheryl) Lindy of Kingwood Texas, George (Barbara) Lindy of Lino Lakes, and Mark (Betty) Lindy of Bemidji; grandchildren Kristen, Erica, Alison, and Taylor and two great grandchildren. There will be a gathering for family and friends Wednesday, May 25 from 5:00-7:00 PM followed by a celebration of Jean’s life at 7:00 PM at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Blvd, White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
