Jean C. Clarity Kirby

Kirby, Jean C. Nee Clarity Age 81, of White Bear Lake Jean (81) was loving and devoted to family, friends, faith, and service. She is survived by children Judy, Ginny (& Neal), Tom, Ann, and Pat; grandchildren Katie, Erin, Bridget, Conor, and Shane; and lots of nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Tom, her parents, brother and two nieces. Jean was born and raised in Minneapolis. She was a proud graduate of Minneapolis West where she was voted Wittiest in the Class of 1947. She studied at the University of Minnesota until family obligations required her to enter the workforce. She then met and married her beloved husband and raised her family. She spent her time over the years in service to various organizations including St Paul Children’s Hospital Association – White Bear Lake Guild, St Mary of the Lake Parish, and Home of the Good Shepherd Auxiliary Board. Jean served as an inspiration of profound faith and devotion. She was a smart, pragmatic woman with a strong personality, sharp wit, and tender heart, especially for dogs. She will be missed beyond measure. To all of the caregivers of Waverly Gardens, thank you for all the gentle care you provided for this most beloved woman. We are so very grateful. Gathering of family and friends 5-8 PM Thursday, 5/19, at MUELLER LAKE MORTUARY, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, and 1 hour prior to Mass on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 1 PM FRIDAY at ST MARY OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave @ 4th St, WBL. Private Internment.
