Jay Foley

Jay Foley, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, at St. Johns Hospital. He lived all of his life in St. Paul. Jay graduated from the Academy of St. Thomas and St. Thomas University and worked as a State Auditor/Accountant. After retirement, he enjoyed working at the MN State Fair. He enjoyed sports and was known as a “Professional Sports Spectator”. He was also a historian and follower of politics. Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Helen; and sister, Sheila. He is survived by cousins; special friend, Nancy Cullen, and many life time friends. A special thank you to the caregivers at Johanna Shores and to the St. Johns Hospital Staff. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, North St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of your choice. Due to Covid, family will host a reception at a later date.
