Gleason, Jane (Schoeller)

The Lord welcomed Jane home on Sunday, March 9th, at the age of 87. Born to Roman and Priscilla Schoeller of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, she was raised in the old white house behind the Cheese shop near the railway tracks. Jane attend St. Mary of the Lake Catholic School and later White Bear Lake High School and enjoyed staying in contact with classmates throughout the years. The diverse interests of her younger years included an appearance on the Tower of Power Catholic Radio and TV show, playing volleyball, square dancing and even once was a beauty show contestant (she had the greatest skin). Jane worked in the assessor's office for the city of Columbia Heights for many years and was the Employee of the Year for 1991. Jane was a deeply religious, kind, generous, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph; father, Roman; mother, Priscilla; sister, Judith Spearance; aunt, Virginia Osterbauer; and stepson, Timothy (Jacqueline) Gleason. Jane is survived by sons, Joseph (Maria) LeMay, Mark (Maybelle) LeMay, Thomas LeMay, and Jay (Colleen) LeMay; daughters, Mary (Robert) Grandner, and Christine (Jeffrey) LeMay; stepchildren, Kathleen (Thomas) Freemark, Bridget (Daniel) Barrett, Martha (Willard) Jensen, and Daniel (Vivian) Gleason; 24 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 nieces and 5 nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 9100 93rd Ave. North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445, with visitation an hour prior to the service at the church. Luncheon to follow service in Reagan Hall at the church. Private interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorial suggested to St. Jude (www.stjude.org).
