Jamie Sockness

12/27/76–3/31/20. Age 43, died unexpectedly at the beginning of the pandemic when services were not allowed. All projects left undone, goals unmet, new job career forgotten. Jamie was an intelligent son and friend who had a passion for animals, cooking, fishing, golf, the Vikings and leather stamping. He had a very good soul. He is preceded in death by his father Russell, grandparents, his Aunt Carol (2019) and Uncle Mike (2019). Survived by his mother Jean, significant other Kaycee and best friend Chris. Aunts, uncles, cousins and his long lost son Julian. Forever remembered for his love of animals and all his pets throughout his lifetime. I cry for the life you lived through and the one you didn’t. Memorial mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Ave N, Roseville, MN, on April 8th at 10 AM with visitation 1 hour prior.
