JAMES C. PETERSON
Jim was born in Ironwood, Michigan on June 6, 1937 to Dorothy (nee Hillmer) and Vernon Peterson. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and served in Korea. Jim was a very hard worker. He loved his family more than anything. In his spare time, Jim loved to fish and repair things, especially small engine repairs. He was a dedicated member of Our Redeemer Church and attended regularly. He took extreme pride in his security work throughout his lifetime. Jim will be remembered for his friendly and happy personality. Preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Vernon; step-father, Alfred Mayer; wife, Jeannine (nee Mielke); mother-in-law, Arlene Mielke; and son-in-law, Richard Lipina. Will be dearly missed by his daughters, Sue Peterson of St. Paul and Debra Lipina-Mattson of Menomonie, Wisconsin; sons, Dennis Peterson of St. Paul and Steven (Jean) Peterson of North St. Paul; his grandchildren, Michael (Pamela) Peterson, Jason (Heather) Peterson, Cassandra Lipina, Michelle (Casey) Rihn, Anthony Lipina, Kathleenjo Peterson, Zachary Peterson, Cha Peterson and Cody Peterson; great-granddaughters, Aliyah and Aubrey Rihn and Willow Lipina; and many other family and friends.
