James Metry Survived by beloved wife, Kathy, Jim passed away on their 53rd anniversary. Also survived by children, Jim, and Jacquelyn; grandchildren, Colin, Ian, Annalise, and Victoria; and his brother, Fred (Carol) Metry; sisters-in-law, Patty (Dennis) Roehrich, Sandy Naughton; brother-in-law, Jim Steele. Visitation on Monday, April 10 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Mueller Memorial White Bear Lake, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake 55110. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Lake, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, 55110 on Tuesday, April 11 at 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Reception to immediately follow Mass at the School. Interment at church cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. Jim was lucky to live a full and joyful life. Everything he set out to do, he did with perfection and he would accept nothing less. He was an avid hunter, was an expert yachtsman, a talented skier, an inventor and entrepreneur, just to name a few of his many accomplishments. He was truly one of the good guys, a devoted son, a loving brother and uncle, a loyal friend and a good neighbor. His children and grandchildren were his source of love and pride and he adored them. But the greatest love of his life was Kathy, his beloved wife of 53 years. They were best friends, soulmates and true partners on life's path. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
