James “Jimi” Giles Hildebrand

Passed away November 11, 2015
Born on September 4, 1994 in Maplewood. His passion was writing. He was a creative, gifted and prolific writer, currently working on a novel. Jimi was a member of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa. He enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors. Survived by mother, Wendi Strong; father, Daniel (Patty Hall) Hildebrand; brother, Eliot Sweere; sister, Hannah Hildebrand; step-brother, William Warren-Hall; paternal grandparents, Jim & Peggy Hildebrand; maternal grandparents, Linda Isham and Gary Strong; paternal great grandmothers, Marion Hildebrand and Eileen Giles; numerous aunts, uncles, and many other special relatives; along with his pet dog, Kaycie, who he affectionately called his “little sister.” A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 2-6 PM with a Time of Sharing at 4 PM. The time of sharing will be a time for friends and family to share stories and fond memories of Jimi with the group. If you have memories and feel comfortable sharing, we would love to hear them.
