Passed away on September 9, 2012. 1976 graduate of Richfield High School. 28 year employee of the U.S. Postal Service. Jimmy had the gift of gab and was a friend to everybody. He loved his parrots, cruising in his cars, cooking with his daughters, going up to the cabin, sitting around his bonfires, and fishing with his grandkids. He was the world’s greatest papa and the best husband you could ever have. Jimmy never judged. He taught and encouraged his daughters to live life to the fullest. He was loved by all and cherished by many. Preceded in death by father, Robert Glenn and lifelong friend, Mike Laven. Survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda; children, Tiffany, Melissa (Aaron); grandchildren, Riley, Taylor, Audrey, Preston; mother, Beverly; brothers, Robert (Roberta), Randall (Joan), Bradley (Kristen); mother-in-law, Marilyn; sisters-in-law, Deborah (Bobby), Susan (David); brother-in-law, Douglas; many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; and by many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Friday, September 14, 2012 at Richfield Lutheran Church, 8 West 60th Street & Nicollet, Richfield. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Thursday at Mueller Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, N. St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
