Passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2016 in Arizona. Jim graduated from Johnson High School in 1958. He was a star football and hockey player. He played football for the US Army at âSupreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europeâ while stationed near Paris. He served the St. Paul Police department for 28 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Anna; and siblings, Mariano, Larry, Frank, and Luigi. Survived by loving friend, Mona Thorp; children, Mitch (Amy), Traci, Scot (Holly Pugh), and Jim (Nicole) Storey; grandchildren, Natasha, Jordan, Kayla Storey, Page, Grace, Mason, and Jack; siblings, Joe, Matt, Donald, and Angeline; and many relatives and friends. Visitation 2-6 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy., St. Paul. Memorial Service 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service on Monday, March 7, also at the funeral home. Interment Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul.
