Jacqueline Holzemer

HOLZEMER Jacqueline "Jackie" Age 66 of St. Paul Preceded in death by her husband Bill and parents Alvin & Mary. Survived by 3 children, Dan (JoAnn), Bob, and Laura; brother Joe (Kate) Pelant; niece Emily (Zach) and nephew John; and 3 grandchildren, Will, Maggie and Annabel. Jackie grew up in Faribault, MN and later met loving husband, Bill, at the University of MN. They made their home on St. Paul's Eastside, where Jackie raised her family and continued to live her remaining years. In 1993, Jackie began her 20-year career at Visitation School as one of the first childcare providers for the school's new infant/toddler program. She had a gift for working with and caring for children. Nothing gave her greater joy than her grandchildren, whom she bestowed countless hugs, smiles and gifts. Her sparkling laugh, generous heart and remarkable graciousness toward each and every person will be deeply missed. Mass will be held Friday 1/18 at 11am at ST. JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E. Roselawn Ave, Maplewood, with one hour of visitation prior. Reception at the church directly after Mass. Interment at 1:30pm at ELMHURST CEMETERY, 1510 N. Dale St, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters.
