Jacklyn Batiste

Jacklyn Andia Batiste, 70, of St. Paul, passed away on August 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack; brother, Jack; sister, Brenda; and grandsons, Leonard Burnell Jr. and Leonard Javoun Burnell. She is survived by her daughter, San Gwenna; son, Leonard Burnell; mother, Estelle; grandchildren, Leondra Lenay; Jahari Tatiana, Jakeise Tionte, Janausia Tiffane, Tandrell , Sandrea Tiffane; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Estelle, Marie, Martha, Desly, and Rodney; and other family and friends.

Jacklyn grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and attended New Hope Baptist Church. She loved to dance. She enjoyed traveling and vacations. She was the family cook and would be in charge of the cooking every other year for many people at the family gatherings in Louisiana. Her number one priority was time with family. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of her life will be held from 1 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul, MN 55106.
