Died Peacefully with Family Present
December 12, 1922 to June 3, 2017
Veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. He was a sheet metal craftsman, pilot, outdoorsman, traveler, and above all, a great dad, grandpa, and uncle.
Preceded in death by wife, Marjorie; sisters, Margaret Johnson, Lillian Holland, Dorothy Carlson, Marie Arneberg, Gertrude Egan, and Norma Meeks; brothers, George, William, Robert, Herman, and Thomas; and son, Scott.
Survived by daughter, Elisabeth âBethâ (Joseph) Buchmeier; daughter-in-law, Julie; granddaughter, Victoria; as well as step-grandchildren, their families, and many other family and friends.
Visitation 11AM-12PM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul with a service at 12PM. Private interment at a later date with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Merrick Meals on Wheels, 1740 Van Dyke Street, St. Paul, MN 55109. This is the organization that Irv volunteered at for many years so it was near and dear to him.
