Hugh Heckel Age 87 Lifelong resident of White Bear Lake Passed away on May 19, 2015. Preceded in death by loving wife, Gloria. Survived by daughter, Linda (Jim) O’Brien of Mahtomedi; grandson, Jason Vollbrecht; 2 step grandchildren, Kevin and David (Yolanda) O’Brien; 2 step great-grandchildren, Grace and Jacob; and special family friend, Paul Christian. 17 year member of Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad; 27 years with 3M; and a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Lake. A heartfelt thank you to St. Croix Hospice and Good Samaritan of Stillwater for their loving care, as well as to Claudia and Greg Beckman for their exceptional kindness. Visitiation 4-8 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Interment Church cemetery. Memorials preferred to Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad, St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, and to Feline Rescue, Inc.
