Helen Jane Pazlar

H. Jane Pazlar (Pawoll) died December 11, 2024, surrounded by her cherished and loving family. Born December 13, 1934 in Columbus, Nebraska, she attended the University of Nebraska where she met her husband Frank W. Pazlar (d: March 3, 2022). They were married in 1955. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a loving wife to Frank and raised five children. She was an incredible mother and teacher sharing life lessons learned in her childhood in Nebraska; years living in Germany and France while Frank was stationed with the Air Force; and in 6 different cities in the States as she and Frank worked, moved and raised their family. She was a giving friend and neighbor to many, and a volunteer to those in need. Jane spent her professional career at Litton Industries, I.C. Systems, Minneapolis Society for the Blind, and Smarte Carte. She was an active volunteer for the White Bear Lake Food Shelf, White Bear Center for the Arts, Mahtomedi Garden Club and active parishioner at St. Mary of the Lake Church. Jane loved to garden at their home in Dellwood and she lives on through the countless flowers shared and now growing in many other's gardens.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Pazlar, parents Alfons and Veronica Pawoll. She is survived by her five children; Mark (Linda), Debbie (Rob), Michael (Heidi), Sharon (John), and John (Jody); sister Mary Miller (Greg Nestroyl), brother John Pawoll (Sally); sister-in-law Shirley Goff (Ron).

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on December 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110 with Lunch to follow across the street at Mueller Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave. Visitation will be 1 hour before mass at the church at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will be at St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery.
