Geraldine "Gerrie" Bonin, age 57, of White Bear Lake, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at her home.
Gerrie graduated from Stillwater Area Schools and continued on to Lexington Transitional School where she developed an interest in housekeeping skills. She was a delightful and affectionate person who was loved by many. Gerrie possessed a joy in the simpler things in life that truly mattered to her. The holidays were a very special time for her, as she enjoyed decorating the house with her sisters. Gerrie was fun-loving, happy, curious, playful, sweet, caring, and loved to draw and color. She often shared her pictures with those who meant a great deal to her. Gerrie also loved music, dancing, bowling, and was involved in the Leisure Activities Developmental Disabled Adults (LADD) Organization. Going to church was a time she looked forward to were she also connected with many friends.
Gerrie has been reunited with her parents, Dolores and Harold Krahn, and Ann and Rollie Bonin; and her siblings, Harold Jr., Kenneth, Paul, Philip, and Maria, and Philip and Jeanne; and brother-in-law, Wayne Krongard.
She leaves behind her siblings, Linda Koslowski, Alice Kane, Lisa Pearson, Jim Krahn, Rosanne Krongard, Marcia Krahn, Jovy Keader, Karla Krahn, Molly Bonin, Barb Anderson, Marcia (Steve) Lang, Bev French, Dick (Sue) Bonin, Mary (Mike) Tubbs and many other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with an 11:00 AM mass. Following the mass, Gerrie will be laid to rest at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, beside her parents. Everyone is then welcome to join the family for a luncheon at Mueller Memorial White Bear Lake located at 4738 Bald Egal Avenue White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
