Gerald W. Koppes “Jerry” “Pa” – Loving Dad, Grandpa & Great-Grandpa Age 84 of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Kathleen (Baloun); parents, Raymond and Clara; granddaughter, Tanya LaBrasseur; and brothers, Harold, Lawrence and Raymond Jr. Survived by children, Steve (Laurie), Daniel (Julie), Russell (Laurie), Jeri Lynn (Dave) Vall, Glenn (Barb), Vicki Koppes and Dawn Koppes; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Marie (Paul) Marte and Richard (Jean) Koppes; and many dear relatives and friends. A special thank-you to HealthPartners Hospice for their compassionate care. Visitation 4-8 PM on Monday, January 23 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy., St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday, January 24 at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 1575 Conway St. at White Bear Ave., St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred and will be donated in Jerry’s name to help those afflicted with diabetes.
