Gary R Larson

Larson, Gary R., 83, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, due to heart failure on December 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by daughter, Tracy Larson; parents, Russell and Lorraine Larson; sister, Phyllis Morency; and brothers, Glenn and Keith Larson. Gary is survived by his wife, Karen Larson; daughters, Debbie (Bob) Hummel and Laura Larson; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Larson, Amber Weihe, Amanda Hummel, Lynn Hummel, and Megan Hummel; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Weihe and Ellise Weihe; sister, Darlene Rothmeier; special nephew, Ray Rothmeier; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gary retired from Brown and Bigelow after 38 years. After retirement, he went to work for United and Children’s hospital for 8 years. Gary enjoyed attending car shows, toy shows, and antique shows. He loved working on different model cars, often multiple at a time. Gary enjoyed time outdoors planting flowers. Most of all, his favorite thing to do, was spend time with his family at the holidays, especially Christmas. His presence will be missed. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM (Noon) on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul, MN with visitation from 11 AM until time of service. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
