Frederick Patrick “Fred” McDowell Born December 5, 1926 Passed December 7, 2014 Of Mahtomedi. Born in Duluth. Preceded in death by parents, Cyril and Fern; nephew, Michael Lilly. Survived by loving wife of 38 years, Lamese Magdalene McDowell (nee Skaff); brother, Larry; sisters, Joan Signorelli and Colleen (LeRoy) Lilly; sister-in-law, Georgette (Don) Englebrecht; many nieces and nephews. Attended the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MCAD). Worked at advertising and graphic arts studios before joining with his wife in their studio until retirement. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at the church. Interment Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul.
