Florence Lucille Timm (nee Vacca)
Age 97 of St. Paulâs Eastside
Passed Away on October 9, 2017
Florence was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 9, 1920. She was one of five children to Stella (nee Santillo) and Angelo Vacca. She graduated from Monroe High School. She was introduced to a young man named Herbert Timm, who had just returned from the war. They began dating and were married on August 30th, 1946 at Holy Redemeer Church of St. Paul. They raised their two boys on the Eastside of St. Paul (near White Bear Avenue). When they were not spending time with their boys, they loved to travel, take cruises, and go out to Las Vegas. Florence and Herbert became snowbirds later in their life and would go to Phoenix during the winter. Florence was a friendly and talkative woman who loved other peopleâs company. She will be missed by all who knew her. She passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at The Waters of Oakdale. She is preceded in death by parents, Angelo and Stella Vacca; husband, Herbert Timm; daughter-in-law, Lynn Timm; brother, Anthony âTonyâ Vacca; and sister, Madeline âMaggieâ Stevens. Florence will be dearly missed by her sons, Kenneth (Barbara) Timm and Daryl Timm; grandchildren, Brent and Blake Timm, Lisa Knack, and Gina (Scott) Ensberg; great-grandson, Benjamin Ensberg; siblings, Teresa Vandanacker and Christopher âSonnyâ Vacca; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
