Florence Kennedy

Kennedy, Florence Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Florence was a woman of strong faith. Preceded in death by loving husband of 60 years, Phillip; and parents, Stanley and Anna Pretzki. Survived by children, Doug (Lynn), Jane (Paul Larson) Kennedy and Anita (Robert Trusler) Kennedy; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Ellen), Brian, Ann (Brian) Knuttila and Joseph; 3 great-grandchildren, Madeline, Ethan and Victoria; 2 sisters, Dorothy Pretzki and Dolores (Joseph) Schmitz; and many relatives and friends. Special thanks to the medical staff on the 4th Floor at St. John’s NE and to the staff of Seasons at Maplewood for their loving care. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday, May 11, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 840 E. 6th Street, St. Paul. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Thursday at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul and 1 hour prior to the time of the Mass at church on Friday. Interment Union Cemetery.
