FATHER RICHARD J. WOLTER Priest of the Archdiocese Age 80 of St. Paul Died at the Leo C. Byrne Residence, February 25, 2013. Ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, February 22, 1959. Father served in the Archdiocese as an associate, a pastor and a chaplain in many parishes, hospitals and care facilities for the last 54 years. Preceded in death by parents, Mathias and Frances; sisters, Carol and Virginia; brothers, Raymond, Robert and Ronald. Survived by sister, S. Mary Anne Wolter, CSJ; sister-in-law, Mary Wolter; nieces, Judie, Joanne, Karen and Julia; nephews, Chris, Terry, Michael, Steve, Jim, Peter and Tim; dearest friends, S. Fran Donnelly, BVM and Fr. Mike Erlander. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 2119 Stillwater Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 4-6PM on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul and also one hour prior to Mass at church on Monday. Interment Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul.
