Eugene P. Williams

EUGENE PAUL WILLIAMS "Mean Gene" passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, on July 28, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Paul on February 14, 2946 to Leonard and Onetta (nee Marsh) Williams. Gene was a longtime East-sider of St. Paul and he was loved dearly by his family and friends. He was always smiling and was quick to crack a joke. Anyone who knew Gene would tell you that he truly was a one of a kind person. He was a proud Army veteran and served in Korea and Germany. Gene was a hard worker and was employed at Northwest Packaging and Solar Plastics for many years. Gene will be dearly missed by his siblings, Herb Williams, Sharon Nelson, Darlene O'Neal, Vernon (Virginia) Williams and David Williams; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and too many other family and friends to list. He was preceded in death by his parents, Onetta and Leonard; siblings, Manley, Laura and Mark; niece, Diana Smith; and nephew, Ryan O'Neal.
