Lowe Eugene “Weaver” Age 87 January 6, 1930 ~ January 23, 2017 Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by wife Marcia (Stachowski); brother Tom and sisters JoAnn & Maureen. Survived by children Sandy (Mike) Triviski, Shari (Bill) Adams; Mark, Sheila (Jerry) Cassidy, Sue Lauermann and Mike; 9 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; sister Chloe Ann Kapaun and other relatives and friends. Gene was president of his senior class at Harding High and was two time All City and one time All State in hockey. He held two city records for 62 years, most goals in one game (6) and the fastest goal ever scored from center face off 4.7 seconds. Gene was also an All City baseball player one year and after high school he played for numerous championship teams. He also loved to pitch horseshoes, go to the casino and play cards. Gene was a lifelong Eastside Barber. Mass of Christian Burial Monday (January 30) at 10:30 am at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Visitation Sunday (January 29) from 2:00- 6:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway and one hour before the Mass at church on Monday. Gene’s family would like to thank the loving staff of Woodwinds Hospital for the exceptional care given to Gene.
