Ethel Thein

Thein, Ethel M. Age 92 of Hugo Longtime Mahtomedi Resident Born in Sherwood North Dakota to John & Louise Thein. Passed away March 26, 2011 of congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by parents and 8 siblings. Survived by brother, Ray (Doris); many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ethel was a devoted sister, special aunt and Godmother. She was a telephone operator for Northern Bell in WB and well known and liked as a receptionist for 3M of Maplewood for over 25 years. Ethel was a kind and thoughtful person, always helping and caring for others. She made you laugh with her dry sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling, cards, crossword puzzles, music and being with people. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 AM Thursday, March 31 at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi. Luncheon reception following Mass. Private interment at a later date. A special thanks to all the staff and residents at Suite Living of Hugo for their care and thoughtfulness and being her new friends for the last 5 ½ years.
