Emilie L. Harrison (Guardini) Retired 3M ~ Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother & Great-Great-Grandmother. Age 87 of White Bear Lake, passed away June 6, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family. Emilie was born in Sheboygan, WI and raised in St. Paul, MN. She briefly worked at Northern Pacific Railroad where she met her future husband of 63 years. After raising her 6 children, she had a 20+ year career at 3M. Emilie had the chemistry for living. She enjoyed celebrating life with family and friends, volunteering at the White Bear Food Shelf, going to Christian retreats and bible study, gardening and spending time with her calico cat, Kiki. She was dearly loved by everyone. Emilie was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; sister, Margarita Gruntner; brother, Joseph Guardini; and grandson, Joseph. She is survived by her 6 children, Linda (Jeff) Simpson, Jeanne (Dale) Radke, Russell (Candise) Harrison, Mari Ann Harrison, Teresa Yarclay and Heidi (Tim) McElroy. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Bette (Don) Hult and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 5-8PM on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM on Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with a second visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the HealthEast Hospice or to the White Bear Lake Food Shelf.
