Friske, Ellen M. (nee Alvstad) January 5, 1919 – March 3, 2011 Preceded in death by husband, Harold Friske. Survived by sons: Robert (Pat) Ward Sr., Richard Ward, Richard (John) Friske, David (Bonnie) Friske; daughters: Mary Ellen (Allen) Noreen, Scharlet Ward & Claudia Friske; sisters: Mae Wick, Edna Strom & Lillian Svendsen; brothers: Lyle (Vernie) Alvstad & Marcus (Ardis) Alvstad; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Ellen will be missed for her ready smile, love of children, & her kind & gentle nature. Visitation 4 – 8 PM MONDAY (3/7) at MUELLER MEMORIAL PARKWAY CHAPEL, 835 Johnson Pkwy. At E. 7th St., & 1 hr. prior to services at church. Funeral Service 10:30 AM TUESDAY (3/8) at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 647 Johnson Pkwy. Interment Ft. Snelling Nat’l. Cemetery.
