Elizabeth Louise "Bette" Montgomery (Kofoed)

Montgomery, Elizabeth L. (Bette) Age 86 of Woodbury Bette passed away February 4, 2017 A graduate of St Catherine University in Nursing (’52), and with a B.A. in English (’86), Bette was a passionate life-long learner with interests in books, literature, writing and poetry. She edited several liturgical works for St. John’s Liturgical Press. Survived by children, Lael (Dennis Wanebo), Brian, Mary, David, Paul, Ellen (Tim Miner), Tom (Angela Lee); grandchildren, Hannah, Thomas, Grace, Noah, Amye, Jennifer, Lillian, Kirby, Eric, Kristen, Amanda, Seth, Stella, Kristiane, Autumn, Claire and Amelia; great-grandchildren, Cate, Mary, Salem, Justice and Kobi and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) and sisters, Margaret and Georgina. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 11, 2017 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St N, Oakdale. A visitation for family and friends will take place immediately preceding Mass, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment in church cemetery.
