Liz Hiniker (nee Daly)
Age 84 of White Bear Lake
Passed away surrounded by her family on October 29th. Liz was proud of her Irish heritage, loved her piano but cherished her family above all else.
Liz was born on July 1, 1935 in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. She was valedictorian of her high school class of 1953. âShe attended the College of St. Catherine and graduated with a BA in English and a music minor. She had a lifelong love of music and she played the piano beautifully from a very young age. Her piano playing caught the attention of Dick Hiniker in the piano room at the Green Mill in Le Sueur, MN in 1955 and they married in August 1957. Liz taught at Central High School in St. Paul for one year while Dick was in law school. By the time of Dickâs law school graduation they had three children. They moved to White Bear Lake in 1962 and two more children followed. After raising their children, Liz and Dick traveled extensively and were always busy with their family and many friends. Liz loved reading and was a member of her book club for over 30 years. Her faith was very important to her and she was a long-time member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. Liz became the proud grandmother of fourteen grandchildren and her family always came before anything else. Liz exuded kindness, love and generosity, each of which will be carried forward by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
