Edna Delores Trahan (nee Janes)
Edna was born in Columbia, Kentucky on June 8, 1934. She was one of four children to Ida (nee Huddleston) and Jimmie Janes. Her family moved to Chicago, Illinois where she met the love of her life, Earl âBillâ Trahan. The two were married in October of 1953 and moved to Minnesota. They raised their four children on St. Paulâs eastside. Edna worked in many careers throughout her life. Some of her most remembered jobs are with a bottling company, laundry company, and battery company. When she was not spending time with her family and friends, she was more than likely reading. Edna loved mystery books, romances, and even Stephen King thrillers. She was a very crafty woman and could knit and crochet. In her most recent years, she enjoyed the really intricate coloring books for adults. Edna was known for her outgoing and cheerful personality.
