Douglas (Doug) Charles Corcoran

Corcoran, Douglas C. Beloved Husband, Dad & Papa – Age 66 Went home to his Lord and Savior on April 1, 2014. Graduated from Johnson High School in 1965 and from Macalester College in 1969. Doug was passionate about his faith and his family. He cherished spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. His infectious smile and warm hugs will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Florence Corcoran; and by mother-in-law, Beverly Langenbrunner. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Jeannie; children, Nicole (Erik) Vik, Meghan (Trevor) Rasmussen, Patrick (Susan) Corcoran; 8 grandchildren, Ana, Gabriel, Kieran, and Caleb Vik, Addison and Aaron Rasmussen, Hakan and Hans Corcoran; siblings, Diane Corcoran, Renee (Dave) Berthiaume, Jeffrey (Emily) Corcoran, Jennifer (Leslie) Corcoran; father-in-law, Ray Langenbrunner; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at New Brighton Christian Church, 1500 29th Ave. NW, New Brighton. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Mahtomedi. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Samaritan’s Purse.
