Doug Carlson

It is with heavy hearts that the Carlson Family must announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Doug Carlson on Saturday, June 3rd. Doug was admitted to St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN on Friday, May 26th fighting extreme fatigue and pain. Known to some, but not all, Dad had been battling cancer for the past number of years. He passed surrounded by his family and we feel at peace knowing that he can now rest. We appreciate everyone's love, support, prayers, well-wishes, and shared memories.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Elenora and Harold. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rosie; his children, Douglas (Julia), Erik (Stephanie) and April (Andy) Persby; 12 grandchildren, Kaylee, Ryleigh, Brenden, Hali, Brinley, Caden, Cael, Celeste, Crew, Alyssa, Amaya, AJ; his siblings, Lynn (Al) DeMeyere and Ray (Lesa); and by many extended family members and close friends.

Funeral Mass 11:00am on Monday, June 26th at Church of St. Pius X, 3878 Highland Ave., White Bear Lake. Visitation begins at 10:00am. Private, family burial at a later date. A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at Jimmy's in Vadnais Heights directly after the funeral.
