DOROTHY JEAN WILL (nee Strasser)

Formerly of White Bear Lake
Dorothy Jean was born on June 20, 1931 in St. Paul, MN. She passed away peacefully, after a short illness, with her family by her side. Jean married James F. Will on May 3, 1952 in White Bear Lake and they had four children together. She graduated from the White Bear Lake High School Class of 1950 and continued on to work at the phone company and as a homemaker. Jean was involved in Communications Workers of America, community politics, class reunion committee and was an avid community volunteer. She loved her family more than anything. Jean enjoyed travel, her grandchildren, wintering in Florida, dancing and was a sports fan. Her strong willed, independent and upbeat personality will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by husband, James F.; and sisters, Darlene and Gloria.
Will be dearly missed by children, Steven (Linda) of Ramsey, MN, Jeffrey (Michelle) of Harris, MN, Cynthia (James) Kwiecien of Woodbury, MN and Joseph (Gail) of Oakdale, MN; sister, Marie Jarvis; longtime, special friend, Ray Lacktorin; her grandchildren, Derrick Will, Nicholas Kwiecien, Tyler Will, Lindsay Will and Alaine (Laney) Will; her step-grandchildren, Matt Brown and McKenzie Rude; her step-great-granddaughters, Victoria Brown and Rylie Rude; and numerous friends and other relatives.
Visitation 4-8PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. Funeral Service at 9:30AM on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home with second visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in the afternoon.
