Dennis LeVasseur

Dennis E. LeVasseur Age 74 of Maplewood ~ Formerly of St. Paul Passed Away November 19, 2016 Denny was a graduate of Harding High School in St. Paul. He enlisted in the United States Navy following his graduation and served honorably for two years. He became an independent plumber and worked many years in the industry. Denny was a hardworking man known for his kind and generous nature. When he was not working, he could be found fishing or golfing. He also loved to garden both flowers and vegetables outdoors. He was a friendly and outgoing man who could talk with anyone. His long and detailed stories will be missed dearly. Denny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Vivian (nee Paulson); and brother, Terry LeVasseur. He is survived by his loving children, Christine Maxa and Debi (Doug Lahde); his brother, Tom LeVasseur; his sister, Jeanne Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and other special family. There will be a visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM on Monday (11/28) at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with a family interment the following day at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
