Jorgenson (nee Palma), Delores Marie, 90, of St. Paul, passed away on April 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; and siblings, Pete (Ann) Cardarelli, Jim Palma, Ed (June) Palma, Tom (Kathy) Palma. Survived by her sister, Judy Ehnstrom; Sister- In- Law, Marce Palma; many loved nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jim Krey.
Delores Marie Jorgenson was born on November 6, 1933 in Saint Paul, MN. She was the daughter of John (Giandominico) Palma and Lennia Dabruzzi. She grew up on the East Side of Saint Paul, MN. This is where she called home. Delores was the 2nd from the youngest of siblings. Brothers, Pete, Jim, Ed, Tom and sister Judy.
On October 25th, 1958, Delores was united in marriage to Jerome Jorgenson. This marriage was blessed for 53 years, until Jerry passed away on August 28th, 2011. The couple lived on the East Side of Saint Paul and also enjoyed spending many wonderful years at their cabin in Osceola, WI.
Delores worked for many years and retired from 3M in Saint Paul, MN.
Delores was a special loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, great-aunt, and godmother. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick's Church in Saint Paul, where she was involved for many years in the choir. Delores enjoyed spending time with all her family, celebrating holidays and birthdays. Raising their German Shepherd dogs, attending ceramic classes, playing cards, and endless pontoon rides on Big, Round, and Pine Lake in Osceola, WI with their best friends and neighbors, Ed and Mary Ann Bruno. She also loved casino day trips, cheering on her MN Vikings, a nice glass of wine and spending time with her special sister, Judy.
Delores and Jerry loved to travel. Many vacations were spent visiting Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, Alaska, Hawaii, Italy and Greece. Cruising with Princess Cruise Line was always their favorite.
Delores had many wonderful people come into her life who loved her greatly. Her life continued to be filled with joy until the very end and was shared with her special friend Jim. Each day started with Delores asking, "what are we going to do today?"
Her last days were spent doing what she loved, gathering for the "cousins luncheon", followed by some shopping. In "true fashion", only she could pull off lavender skinny jeans to go with her wedged heels.
Delores passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 4 days.
Blessed be her memory.
