Deanna Godfrey (nee Germain)

February 17, 1941 - January 16, 2023

Our mom, Dee has left us unexpectedly and we are devastated.

We find peace in that she is with loved ones in heaven; her son Arthur, granddaughter Kelsey and many Germain/Mancuso family members.

Those of you who knew her well, appreciated her quick wit, love for sports, fierce independence and unwavering dedication & love for her family. She made an impact on everyone she met and could strike up a conversation with anyone...which she often did. She worked at Target, T1 Roseville, for over 25 years, she ran tight ship there and gained many lifelong friends.

Patrick Mahomes & the Kansas City Chiefs and Johan Duran & the Minnesota Twins were her favorite past time, along with Jeopardy...never missed an episode.

As she grew older and had grandchildren, she decided she wanted to be called Nonnie Rose, from then on, she was Non to most of her family. Family was her first priority and she was most happy when everyone was together. We will especially cherish moments from the recent holidays, not knowing those would be our last with her.

Our hope is to keep her legacy alive through commitment to family and the traditions she loved. She was certainly one of a kind and we are blessed to have had her in our lives.

Non is survived by her children, Lynne (Tim), Shelly (Dan), Mark, Mike (Kristi); grandchildren, Alex, Amanda, Drake, Drew, Bella, Bailey & Connor; sister, Lori (Brian) and many nieces and nephews. Non's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 19th from 1-5 in the Oneka Room at Hugo City Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
